BibTag technology – the standard in sports timing

Since inventing automatic sports timing in 1982, MYLAPS has been at the forefront of innovation, powering races from the Olympics and major marathons to local races. BibTag technology is the industry standard for mass running events, offering affordable chips with the highest read-rates.

With the successful deployment of BibTag technology, the Lincoln Marathon stands alongside other prestigious international races that trust MYLAPS for accurate and reliable timing. In 2025, BibTag will be used at four of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors, Tokyo, Boston, Chicago, and Sydney, reinforcing its reputation as the gold standard in race timing technology.
